About me

I have worked in children's services for over 12 years. Initially, I began my career as a frontline care worker and progressed to working as a registered manager within residential children's homes. More recently I have worked as Head of Operations & Compliance for a semi-independent provider.

I have extensive experience of conducting regulation 44 visits and issuing recommendations as well as assisting providers to improve their services. I have also worked with children and young people and their families offering support during supervised contacts enabling families to build on their relationships with children / young people, whilst doing so ensuring that children and young people are kept safe during these difficult times.

My qualifications include NCFE level 2 in safeguarding children and young people. Level 3 diploma in children and young people’s workforce and Level 5 diploma in leadership and management.
